Everything fans have come to expect from the series, including the nuances of each game, has been recreated faithfully. And hey, from what SNK plans to show at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo, it just may be the compilation for diehard Slug aficionados. It sounds like a dream come true for any fan. Then you'll score Metal Slug 2, Metal Slug X, Metal Slug 3 and 4, and finally Metal Slug 5. Six whole games, in fact, starting with the original Metal Slug that appeared on Neo-Geo arcades in 1996.
With the latest installment, Metal Slug Anthology, SNK wants to deliver the entire package. And that's because, like any classic series, it still offers something special.
